Very good news for users of IE6, since Microsoft is offering similar technology in IE 7. Its still a shame IE 7 will not be offered to Windows 2000 users. Netscape 8 already offers this protection and Netcraft already offers a Toolbar for both IE 6 and Firefox.

It will be really interesting how Terrasoft and Kai deal with Apple’s leaving the market. News.com is running a story that Terrasoft has teamed with Mercury systems to provide the server hardware but as Kai pointed out, you will need Workstations and notebooks. Im sure they will tackle the problem but they will also have to keep the systems competitively priced to compete with the x86 and x64 markets.

This might be interesting. Microsoft trying to coerce the enemy into proving Microsofts systems are better. Interesting approach. I agree with Leigh over at Red Hat let the customer testimonials speak for themselves.
Google Desktop 2 Released August 23, 2005

The Desktop Search tool from google made its official launch today. Its an interesting tool, has many new features. It has a funky new sidebar similar to Longhorns and you can now index Network and external drives. The problem? Its still relies on that crappy browser based interface from before, so I still cant recommend this product and you should still use Windows Desktop Search
There is even a rumor Google may start its own chat service.

Definately very cool and it really works very well. Now if only they would release this for OpenOffice.org it would be even cooler.
