Useless opinions by non coding Journalists July 4, 2006

CNET’s Robert Vamosi during a video presentation of IE7 beta 3 showed off the browser but made a comment at the end that I think really puts down his expertise. Robert, a non-coder obviously, made the comment at the end that he will stick with Firefox 1.5 because he doesnt think that the underlying code has changed enough to make IE7 truly secure. My question to Robert is how does he know? Has he poured over the lines of code in IE? Has he compared them to the lines of code in IE6? More than likely not. IE7 Beta 3 makes huge strides in security and usability of IE7 Beta 3, while Firefox has a pesky Security vulnerability that has still to be patched. Way to muck up your credibility Robert and screw up an otherwise decent Video presentation. Instead of a non-biased look at IE7 Beta 3 you showed us ,with incompetent and incomplete knowledge of the facts I will add, where your biases lay.
