Microsoft opens cut-price Windows in some Asian countries to combat Linux and piracy, here are some details:

* lower resolution graphics
* limited options for networking computers together
* limits users to running three programs concurrently

With that kind of functionality, I would rather pirate or use Linux. What a fucking joke on Microsofts part.
