WRONG!!!! Missing the point altogether. The point of this attack was not to overly infect, nor was it to be widespread. Coming from the military and from a hacker background I know a warning shot when I see it. Enterprise Linux.com missed it. The point of this attack was to show it could happen not a question of if but when. The Linux community needs to be more careful because it was like Steve Jobs said. he would not call Mac OS X hacker proof or say that viruses cannot be written for Mac OS X because that entices malware authors. The Linux community does that constantly, proclaiming that Linux is hacker proof and a virus cannot be written for Linux. Well, now we know it can happen. I have tools on Windows to help me clean a system or to diagnose my system. Linux does not. Mac OS X has had their fair share of security threats lately
