Interview at YellowTAB July 11, 2005

Posted by rjdohnert in Software reviews.

Thought the BeOS was dead? Well, a certain group is hoping otherwise, YellowTAB is a german company who markets and distributes a version of the BeOS called Zeta, distribution derived of BeOS 6 the last version to be released to developers it looks like its starting to mature a little. An interview with the company is here. What kills me is that people after all these years still use R5 BeOS and it shows how flexable the BeOS was. I also found amazing that Richard Stallman, the cheerleader and open source zealot, once used the BeOS as his primary system. If you like to play with Operating Systems then by all means, try the BeOS. It was also one of my favorites years ago.
