Mass. CIO resigns December 27, 2005

Peter Quinn who as everyone knows by now, resigned his post. Peter was famous for bringing OpenDocument to Mass. executive agencies. Its a true shame he wont be around to see the fruits of his labor. He may get a chance to go work for a Linux house or even a Linux compoany rather soon. Its also noteworthy he didnt get forced to resign his post, Microsoft played no part in it either.

mmm… not sure on that, at least made a lot of politic pressure. Example: http://www.mass.gov/Aitd/docs/policies_standards/etrm3dot5/responses/microsoft.pdf
