Well folks, while we all know how vulnerable an unpaatched Windows Server is, someone decided to launch another test. They put an unpatched Windows Server 2003 and an unpatched Windows 2000 Server machine on the net.  They also did client versions of Windows.  They also put up Red Hat and SUSE servers on the net and they werent compromised at all.  Shame  the test didnt have anyone else know about it, I checked the web for knowledge of this test with nothing even coming up.  Windows did last an hour and some change unpatched.  The kicker is they put up fully patched systems of Windows that were not compromised at all during the test, yet they only allowed one sentence for the patched systems.

My question, I want a show of hands of everyone who reads this.  How many of you guys still run unpatched servers?
