Apple expands Best Buy foothold June 1, 2006Posted by rjdohnert in Tech News.
Apple seems to be expanding its retail presence among Best Buys across the US. Best Buy has stocked Apples iPod player and the Mac Mini for awhile but now will start to carry the MacBook, MacBook pro and iMac lines. This will be perhaps the first time in nearly 15 years that Apple will have a retail presence this large.
My Take; I hope the Best buy in my area starts to carry the products soon. Best Buy will also have to start carrying Mac compatible peripherals as well as software. I doubt people will buy the PC at Best Buy then drive 30 miles or in some cases more to an Apple store, to pick up a Wireless USB adaptor and Mac software
