Steven J. Vaughn Nichols released an article that pretty much damns Windows Vista and praises SUSE 10.1 as the next big thing.

My Take;  Windows Vista is still in Beta so its hardware detection and some features will not work.  Its not quite really kosher to compare a beta to a final release but what the hell.  My experience with SUSE 10.1 hasnt been exactly without problems.  Although my graphics card does support XGL, it doesn’t work properly.  My Cisco Aironet card which was natively supported under SUSE 10.0 is no longer supported under 10.1 without using the NDISWrapper application.  Some of the applications in 10.1 while nice, still dont work flawlessly and crash constantly.  Windows Vista right now is not perfect it has its bugs, but neither is SUSE Linux.
